Fireworks in Plymouth, Devon and Cornwall

Bonfire Night on the Hoe is Plymouth's big night: the fireworks go up from the Royal Citadel on Thursday 5 November 2026, with the bonfire lit at 7pm and fireworks at 7.30pm. For your own display, Saturday 31 October and Saturday 7 November are the likely nights. Because Plymouth is one of our longest runs, order well ahead of the weekend you want.

Fireworks for Plymouth gardens. Terraces in Stonehouse, Mutley, Stoke and Devonport usually have small yards, which suit fountains, small cakes and our low-noise range. Bigger gardens in Plympton, Plymstock, Yelverton or across the Tamar in Saltash can often take F3 display packs, which need 25 metres of clear space between the firing point and the audience. The legal points. Fireworks can't be set off between 11pm and 7am, except until midnight on 5 November and until 1am on New Year's Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year. Private land only, so no parks, streets or car parks. Safety distances are 8 metres for F2 garden fireworks and 25 metres for F3 display fireworks. You must be 18 or over to buy F2 or F3. Storage: cool, dry, locked, in the maker's packaging, for up to 48 days from delivery without an explosives licence.

Have a look at the low-noise range first if you're in a built-up area, or jump straight to the cake and barrage section if you've got the space. Rockets, fountains, sparklers and complete display packs are all in the main range too.

What happens on delivery day?

Our ADR-trained driver will send you a 2-hour delivery window. They'll help you offload your fireworks and put them somewhere safe, such as a porch, garage, shed or outbuilding. Please give a safe place at checkout: if nobody is in and there's nowhere safe to leave them, the delivery fails and redelivery costs £29.95.

Can I click and collect instead?

Yes, from any of our three shops: Dinnington near Sheffield (12-14 Hangsman Lane, S25 3PF, 01909 560011), Ripley in Derbyshire (54 Oxford Street, DE5 3AP, 01773 513388) and Retford in Nottinghamshire (8 Grove Street, DN22 6JR, 01777 869111). They're a long way from Plymouth, so most of our Plymouth customers order for delivery. Retford is a seasonal shop, so check its hours before you travel.

How long can I store fireworks at home?

You can store fireworks at home for up to 48 consecutive days without a storage licence. Keep them somewhere cool and dry, away from heat, out of reach of children and pets, and in their original packaging.
