Norwich is a cathedral city in central Norfolk, with a generous mix of suburban gardens and rural outskirts where larger F3 displays have plenty of clearance. The Norfolk Broads and surrounding countryside mean many customers have larger gardens than typical city homes, but if you live in the medieval centre or a terraced street like Magdalen, the low-noise range is the kindest option for neighbours and the famous local cathedral peregrine falcons.
The big organised events tend to cluster around 5 November. Eaton Park traditionally hosts Norwich's biggest 5 November display, with community events at Whitlingham Country Park and across the Norfolk Broads. For New Year's Eve, the Norwich New Year's Eve fireworks light up the city centre from the castle.
Safety distances are non-negotiable: 8 metres from spectators for F2 garden fireworks, 25 metres for F3 display fireworks. Some products want more clearance, so always read the label. The curfew in England runs 11pm to 7am every night except: midnight on 5 November, 1am on New Year's Eve, 1am on Diwali, and 1am on Chinese New Year. Private land only. Setting fireworks off in a park, on a road or in any public space is a criminal offence. You need to be 18 to buy F2 or F3.
Storage: somewhere cool, dry, locked, and out of children's reach. Manufacturers' packaging is fine. Up to 48 days from delivery without an explosives licence.

Garden fireworks (F2) require 8 metres minimum clearance. Display fireworks (F3) require 25 metres minimum. Always check the label on individual products.
