Ice Fountains — Indoor Cake and Bottle Sparklers
Ice fountains are small indoor-safe sparkler candles designed for cakes, bottles and table centrepieces. They produce a shower of cold sparks with minimal smoke, making them suitable for indoor celebrations where standard fireworks cannot be used.
Our ice fountains are from Brothers Pyrotechnics and are available individually from £0.99, in boxes of 36 (£23.40) or in bulk cases of 864 (£302.40) for events and venues. Each fountain burns for approximately 45 seconds and produces a bright silver spark shower roughly 30cm high. We also stock Ice Fountain Holders (packs of 10, £7.99) for securing fountains to bottles and centrepieces.
Ice fountains are popular for weddings, birthdays, restaurant celebrations, club events and New Year's Eve. They're classified as F1 (the lowest firework category) and require no special safety distances beyond basic common sense — keep them away from flammable materials and be aware of low ceilings.

Are ice fountains safe to use indoors?
Yes. Ice fountains are specifically designed for indoor use. They produce cold sparks (not hot burning fragments like outdoor sparklers) and minimal smoke. They are F1-rated and suitable for use in restaurants, hotels, bars and homes. Keep them away from curtains and other flammable materials, and check venue ventilation.
How long do ice fountains burn?
Each ice fountain burns for approximately 45 seconds, producing a shower of silver sparks roughly 30cm high. This is long enough to create a visual impact for cake presentations, champagne toasts or table centrepieces.
Can you put ice fountains on birthday cakes?
Yes. Ice fountains are commonly used as cake toppers for birthdays, weddings and celebration cakes. Push the base of the fountain into the cake and light the top. The cold sparks will not damage the cake. Remove the spent fountain before cutting and serving.
Are ice fountains the same as sparklers?
No. Ice fountains and outdoor sparklers are different products. Ice fountains produce cold sparks and are safe for indoor use. Traditional sparklers burn at much higher temperatures and are designed for outdoor use only. Do not use outdoor sparklers indoors or on cakes.

Do ice fountains come with free delivery?
Orders over £300 qualify for free delivery to mainland UK. Bulk cases of 864 qualify for free delivery on their own. Smaller orders carry a flat delivery charge.
