Fawkes' Top Tip
Houdini is fanned. Shots arc up and out, fanning left to right across the sky in front of your audience. Set up with the marked side of the box facing the crowd, the label on the top tells you which one. Give it side clearance too. The fan needs sky width as much as height.
A compound is several cakes pre-linked into one show. Leave it strapped in its outer packaging and fire it as one piece: one fuse runs the lot.
