Fireworks in London — the practical version
London garden sizes drive most of the buying decision. The Zone 1 and inner-Zone 2 stock — Hackney terraces, Camden flats, Pimlico mansion blocks — is selection-box and indoor F1 territory only. The mid-tier outer-Zone-2 to Zone 3 belt (Brixton, Streatham, Wood Green, Walthamstow) handles F2 cakes and single-shot mines. Outer London proper — Dulwich, Blackheath, Richmond, Hampstead, Bromley, Wimbledon — has gardens big enough for F3 display fireworks.
What suits a London garden
F2 garden fireworks need 8 metres clear to spectators. That's a typical 30-foot outer-suburban back garden, but only just. If you're tighter than that, look at low-noise selection boxes and single-shot mines instead. F3 display fireworks need 25 metres — most realistically that's the leafier postcodes in SE21, SE3, TW10, NW3 and BR1. Ring 01709 769 184 with a rough idea of dimensions if you want a steer.
The London fireworks calendar
New Year's Eve is the biggest. The official Thames display on 31 December is the country's largest organised firing, plus thousands of garden parties across the city. Bonfire Night runs steady but quieter — Alexandra Palace, Battersea Park and Crystal Palace host the headline 5 November displays. Diwali pulls heavy orders through Wembley, Harrow, Southall and Hounslow each October. Chinese New Year through Soho and the East End in late January / early February.
Buying for the first time
Most London customers are first-time online firework buyers — the supermarket pop-ups and corner-shop seasons don't really run down here. Low-noise
London has more household-pet and close-neighbour concerns than most cities, plus boroughs that have consulted on (but not imposed) firework restrictions. The low-noise range is under-75dB and gives you the colour and crackle without the bangs. Real category, not a token line.
The legal points
England-wide rules apply: 11pm to 7am curfew, with extensions to midnight on 5 November and 1am on New Year's Eve, Diwali and Chinese New Year. How delivery works
Our ADR-trained drivers (not standard couriers, not Hermes lads) carry class 1.4G fireworks and are fully insured for it. You'll get a 2-hour slot with live tracking and a text en route. The driver offloads and moves boxes wherever you want them — garage, shed, porch, even round the back through a side gate. Leave a delivery note on the basket page if there's anything specific (gate code, dog in the garden). If no-one's in and there's nowhere safe to leave them, redelivery is £29.95.

Can I set off fireworks in my London garden any night of the year?
Yes, on private land. However, there are curfew times you must follow:
- Standard curfew: 11pm to 7am (fireworks not allowed)
- Exceptions: Bonfire Night (5 Nov, until midnight), New Year's Eve (until 1am), Diwali (until 1am), Chinese New Year (until 1am)
You cannot set off fireworks in public places like parks, streets, car parks, or beaches, regardless of the time or date.

What do your drivers do when they deliver?
Our ADR-certified specialist drivers deliver to a safe storage location that you specify at checkout (porch, garage, shed, or outbuilding). Our drivers will help you offload and give you a hand putting your fireworks somewhere safe if needed for display. You store them safely and use them when you've planned your display.
All deliveries include live tracking with a 2-hour slot, text updates, and email confirmation.
