What's the difference between a fountain and a roman candle?
Fountains sit on the ground and spray sparks upward in a fan shape — they're quiet and make good display openers. Roman candles are upright tubes that fire individual shots (stars or comets) one at a time into the air. Roman candles must be secured in a ground stake or launch tube, never held.
What are the best fireworks for small gardens?

Can I use smoke grenades for photography and events?
Yes. Coloured smoke grenades are F1-rated and produce dense coloured smoke for 60–90 seconds. Available in 8 colours, they're popular for portrait photography, gender reveals, weddings and festivals. They work in daylight — one of the few pyro products visible during the day.
How do I safely use a roman candle?
Push the roman candle into soft ground or secure it in a purpose-built launch tube or ground stake. Never hold a roman candle in your hand. Light the fuse and step back to the recommended safety distance (8m for F2, 25m for F3). Each shot fires at intervals of a few seconds.
What fireworks are quietest?
