You light the fountain end first and it throws genuinely hot sparks, so treat it like a sparkler, not a novelty. Rated F1, a low-hazard firework: safe to use with as little as 1 metre of space.

Once it has burned down you pull the remains out and you are left with a glow stick that carries on into the rest of the evening. Six in a pack.
