You will receive a text and an email before delivery letting you know a date and rough ETA for delivery alongside a live tracking link.
Please let us know in the order notes if you require your fireworks for a specific date.
If delivery cannot be made, and the fault lies with the customer (i.e. not home, and we cannot leave it with a neighbour), we will charge £29.95 for re-delivery later.
Please only sign for the number of boxes that have arrived.

We offer far more than just a delivery service where items are moved from A to B; we can give you all the peace of mind and assurances you need that your fireworks will get to you safely and, vitally, on time, no matter whether you need firework cakes for bonfire night, New Year’s Eve, or any other celebration or event.
For one thing, we have our own team of experienced specialist drivers who are dedicated to ensuring you get your order when you’re expecting it. You can rest assured that your package is in safe hands from start to finish and is taken care of in the best – safest – way. Plus, to make all this even better, we also offer live tracking, which means you can see precisely where your order is at every step of the way in real time. You’ll even be sent a text and email before we deliver anything, which includes the live tracking link, so you never have to worry or wonder about when your fireworks are going to arrive.
Our drivers aren’t just good at what they do; they’re experts. Yes, they can drive, and yes, they can carry heavy loads (taking into account all the health and safety requirements they need to know), but more than that, they’re friendly, and they’re knowledgeable, which means if you have questions, they’ll have answers (or they can get the answers – either way, you’ll have the information you need quickly and accurately). Where Do We Deliver To?
We can safely deliver to almost anywhere within the UK, bringing our exceptional range of firework boxes and packs to anyone who requires them, ensuring that no matter where you happen to be, you’ll be able to celebrate in style.
We do have some premium fireworks delivery areas, and it’s vital to see if yours might be one of them. As ever, we try to be as fair as possible when it comes to our delivery charges, and that means that some areas have to be charged more to ensure we can still offer the same great service no matter where you happen to be. These premium areas are Wales (excluding the South East and Cardiff/Newport), Scotland (north of Glasgow/Edinburgh), Cornwall, Devon, East Norfolk and Suffolk. These areas have a flat delivery charge of £49.95, no matter how big the order is.
It may also be that these areas have longer lead times due to their location, so if you need your fireworks by a certain date, please get in touch before you order them just to make sure we can do what you want us to do; we don’t want you to be disappointed.
What If Something Is Out Of Stock?
We try to keep a good stock of all our products, such as firework rockets and sparklers, as much of the time as possible, and we have a live stock control system that we find to be incredibly accurate. That means 9 times out of 10, there won’t be an issue with your order, and there won’t be any delays due to something being out of stock.
However, when it comes time to pack your order, it could be that we realise there’s something missing or we’re lower on stock than we imagined we were – it could even be that the stock levels are correct, but when we start packing, we find something is damaged or just not high enough quality to send out for any reason.
If that happens and we can’t fulfill your full order, we’ll contact you right away to let you know and give you a choice of an alternative item or a refund. If we can’t get through to you and time is of the essence because you need the fireworks for a specific date, we’ll replace anything that’s missing with something similar that will be of the same or perhaps greater value. In other words, you won’t miss out, but we do reserve the right to tweak your order just a little to make it work.
But It Costs So Much!
You might have noticed that firework delivery costs are higher than standard delivery costs, but the fact is that that’s not something we’ve done at Galactic Fireworks to turn over a greater profit. As standard across the industry, firework delivery UK is more expensive than the delivery of other things (non-hazardous things) because of the safety element.
Fireworks are classified as explosives, which means they simply can’t be sent using a standard courier service, and there are only a few specialised couriers around the UK who are licensed to do the work and handle these explosive materials. So, of course, that usually means the costs are higher because, as with anything that’s in high demand and low in numbers, they can just charge more – prices range from around £20 to £100 in some cases.
On top of that, there’s the hazardous goods charge. Being explosive isn’t enough for fireworks; they’re deemed to be hazardous goods as well, which means there’s an extra £10 per consignment because of the unique and expert safety precautions involved in handling and transporting them.
Finally, there are the packing materials. Packing fireworks means taking extra special care to ensure they reach you in pristine condition, and the rules say that fireworks have to be packed in UN cartons specially made for the job. There are other packing materials as well, which include labels and air-fill, and that can be as much as £4 to £10 on top of the other charges.
All of this means that even the smallest order delivered somewhere simple could cost Galactic Fireworks upwards of £35. We try to keep costs as low as possible for you and do our best to swallow as many of them as possible. As you can see, when you bear that in mind, our prices are more than fair.

You might wonder just why firework safety is so important, especially if it’s just going to make buying them all the more expensive – particularly when it comes to firework delivery UK. The fact is that when they’re not handled properly, fireworks can cause serious injuries, fire, property damage, and even death.
When you take firework safety seriously, like we do as Galactic Fireworks, it can prevent accidents – the safety measures the law puts in place makes this much easier to achieve, but it’s something we’d do to ensure our customers and their friends, family, and clients are as safe as possible at all times.
