Galactic Update: March 2026 — New Website Launch
Hello, you lot. March has been one of those months where you look back and think "how did we fit all that in?" While you've probably been enjoying the first hints of spring (or pretending the rain is "mild"), we've been absolutely flat out at Galactic HQ. New website, new content, and new stock trickling in. Let's get into it.

The New Galactic Website Is Live

The new galacticfireworks.co.uk — rebuilt from the ground up

This is the big one. If you've visited galacticfireworks.co.uk recently, you'll have noticed things look a bit different. That's because we've completely rebuilt the site from the ground up.

It's been months in the making and I'm not going to pretend it wasn't a headache at times, but the result is something we're genuinely proud of. The new site is faster, cleaner, and way easier to navigate. We've redesigned the homepage with proper category sections so you can jump straight to what you're after — whether that's wedding fireworks, low noise, garden displays, gender reveals, or the big loud stuff.

Every product page still has videos (that's non-negotiable for us), and we've improved the browsing experience across the board. Mobile is miles better too. If you were ever frustrated trying to browse fireworks on your phone at 11pm in bed — and I know some of you are exactly that type of person — it should be a much smoother experience now.

We've also added a dedicated stores page with a proper map showing all three of our locations across Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. If you've never visited us in person, this is the year to do it. There's nothing quite like seeing the range up close and having a chat with the team.

Have a browse and let us know what you think. Seriously — if something's broken, confusing, or you think we've missed a trick, drop us a line. We want to get this right.

New Login System

You might also notice the login process has changed. We've migrated over to a new system where you can sign in with your Google or Facebook account, or get a quick code sent to your email — no password needed. It's faster and more secure.

I know it's not what everyone's used to, and change is never ideal, but this is the direction online security is moving and we needed to make the jump. If you run into any issues, just give us a shout and we'll get you sorted.

Content Blitz — New Guides Galore

We've been busy — new in-depth guides covering everything from garden displays to wedding fireworks

You might have also noticed we've been on a bit of a writing spree this month. We've published a stack of brand new guides on the blog, and they're not fluff pieces. These are proper, detailed resources that we've put real time into:

All of these are on the blog right now. Go have a read — I promise they're worth your time.

Spring Is Here — Get Planning

Spring means wedding season — and there's nothing quite like fireworks to end the perfect day

Easter bank holiday is just around the corner (3rd–6th April), then you've got two May bank holidays hot on its heels. If you're planning any kind of celebration — birthday, anniversary, garden party, wedding — now is the time to sort your fireworks.

I said it last month and I'll say it again: don't leave it until the last minute. We're already getting wedding enquiries for the summer, and the popular products do sell out. Our curated wedding packages, complete display kits, and garden selections are all on the new site ready to go.

And if you're not sure what you need, give us a ring on 01709 769184 or drop us an email. That's literally what we're here for.

Coming up: Easter bank holiday (3rd–6th April), plus both May bank holidays (4th and 25th). Don't be the person scrambling at the last minute.

2026 Stock — The Teasers Are Coming

New firework stock in warehouse — cakes, rockets and compounds ready for 2026
New stock is arriving — and we can't wait to show you what's coming for 2026

I've been dangling this carrot for two months now and I know some of you are getting impatient. The 2026 new stock is genuinely looking incredible. We've been working with Primed, Cube, Brothers, Celtic and others, and the products coming through are properly special.

I can't show you everything yet — some orders are still being confirmed — but the first sneak peeks and demo videos will be dropping very soon. Keep your eyes on the website and our socials. When we say this year's stock is on another level, we mean it.

That's your lot for March. New website, new guides, and spring on the doorstep. It's shaping up to be a cracking year.

Thanks for reading, thanks for your support, and until next time.

James
