Pick up two or three and stake them in a shallow V or W. Roman candles are one of the exceptions where firing 2-3 alongside each other is fine — they're directional, ground-fixed, and you get a wide spread of rapid-fire shots instead of a single column. Stake all of them at identical angles, light the visco fuses one after another.
