Information processed
The extension reads the current supported page’s URL, property address or three-word address, and location data in map-image URLs and navigation links. It uses this information to show and copy latitude and longitude. Processing takes place locally in your browser.
It does not request your device’s GPS position, inspect passwords or cookies, read existing clipboard contents, collect payment information, or keep browsing history. It has no analytics, advertising, remote-code loader, or developer-operated data collection service.
Copying and opening maps
Copy coordinates writes the displayed pair to your system clipboard when you click it. Your operating system or other software may retain clipboard history. Open in Google Maps sends that pair to Google over HTTPS only when you click the link. Google processes that visit under its own policies. The extension may open what3words’ Navigate panel when you request coordinates; the website continues operating under its own policies.
Retention and control
Page details and results remain in memory while the page or popup is open and are replaced as the location changes. The extension does not persist those details to local storage, Chrome Sync, or a server. Close the tab or popup to clear its in-memory state, and replace or clear your clipboard separately. Disable or uninstall the extension from Chrome’s Extensions page to stop processing.
Permissions and updates
Site access is limited to Zoopla property pages and what3words. It allows the automatic on-page panel to read the current location. activeTab and scripting enable the toolbar popup to read the supported active page when requested. All executable extension code is bundled. Chrome handles approved Web Store updates; locally loaded unpacked copies must be updated manually.
Limited use
Turvers LTD uses the information handled by Coordinate Copier only to provide its displayed location, copying and map-opening features. The extension does not sell data, use it for advertising, transfer it for unrelated purposes, or use it for creditworthiness or lending decisions. Its handling of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Support and other services
If you email support, Turvers LTD receives the information you choose to send and uses it to respond to your request. Avoid including private customer data. The extension does not automatically attach browsing data or diagnostics to support messages. Chrome Web Store, Google Maps, Zoopla, what3words and the publisher’s website operate under their own applicable policies.
Changes
This notice will be updated if the extension’s data handling changes. Future releases must keep the public privacy policy and store disclosures consistent with their behaviour.
