Bright Star Fireworks – Broad Range, But You Need to Pick Carefully
Bright Star Fireworks is a UK brand that casts a wide net. Where many brands focus on cakes and compounds, Bright Star covers almost every category of consumer firework – cakes, rockets, sparklers, fountains, candles, catherine wheels, selection boxes and firing accessories. The range is huge, but you have to be picky with it – for every gem there are three or four very average fireworks. That's where we come in. The products listed here are the ones we've handpicked as the standouts.
Cakes and barrages
The cake range runs from compact garden pieces like Oriental Stars, Bombay Nights and Bunker Buster through to larger display cakes such as Armageddon 500, Thunder Strike, Ticket To Paradise and Bushido. Tick and Tock offer a matched pair at mid-range prices, and the Big Boss Cake Pack bundles several barrages together for a full evening's display.
Rockets, sparklers and everything else
War Hawks and War Hawk 2 are the headline rockets, with Sonic F/X, Screaming Banshee and Demon Detonator covering smaller budgets. The sparkler range includes 18" Mammoth Sparklers, 10" Coloured and 10" Crackling varieties. Tri Colour Wheels, Galaxy Spray Wheel and Siberian Swirl offer spinning effects, while Funky Frog and Vortex Fury are reliable fountain options. Selection boxes – Family Box, Mighty Box, Giant Bonfire Box and Party Box – give a ready-made mix for garden displays.
Gender reveal fireworks
Bright Star also produces Surprise Baby Boy and Surprise Baby Girl cakes for gender reveal celebrations.
Bright Star is also the parent brand of Xtreme Fireworks, their premium sub-brand for serious display pieces.
