Yellow Smoke Grenade is about as bright as smoke gets. It's the colour most picked for sports stills and action shots, and it stands out on a dull day when the darker colours fade into the background.
It's a single ring-pull grenade from Black Cat. Pull the ring and it catches within a couple of seconds, then pours out around 90 seconds of thick smoke with no flame and nothing fired into the air. Outdoors only, and on private land: the label is clear that setting one off in a public area is against the law.
It's a popular one on the paintball field too, where a yellow cloud is easy for the whole team to spot.
