"You're twisting my melon, man!"
Aside from having one of the best names in the business, Twisting My Mellons is a genuinely stunning piece of pyrotechnic engineering from Celtic Fireworks. This is a rapid-fire, 100-shot barrage that clears its tubes in just 15 seconds, creating a wide, sweeping wall of effects.
It fires in a "Z-shape" pattern (wiping left to right), launching coloured stars that burst into unique silver twisting spinners. Crucially, this is a low-noise firework. Instead of heavy thuds, you get the mesmerising visual of the spinners and a gentle "whirring" sound.
It’s fast, frantic, and fills the sky with movement, making it the perfect high-impact addition to a low-noise display.
Galactic Top Tip: "This is a Z-firing cake, which means it shoots in a wiper motion from left to right. Orientation is critical! Make sure you place the firework with the long side facing the audience. If you put it end-on, you'll miss the sweeping effect entirely, and it will just look like a thin line of shots."
