A can of Clipper butane for topping up jet-flame lighters and butane torches. Standard fitting, so it will refill almost anything with a filler valve in the bottom.
A lighter that dies halfway through setting up is the most avoidable problem on the list, and it is reliably the one that happens. Fill everything the afternoon before. Finding out in the dark is worse.
One can does a lot of refills and it takes up no room in the box. Keep one with the lighters and forget about it.
