Top tip: a compound is several cakes pre-linked, so leave it strapped in its outer packaging and fire it as one piece.
Fawkes' Top Tip
Houdini is fanned. Shots arc up and out, fanning left to right across the sky in front of your audience. Set up with the short edge of the box facing the crowd. Give it side clearance as well as overhead. The fan needs sky width, not just height.
