Green Smoke Grenade is the one paintball and airsoft players reach for. Pull it at the start of a push and a thick green cloud rolls across the field, and you've got something to move behind.
It's a single ring-pull grenade from Black Cat. Pull the ring and it catches within a couple of seconds, then pours out around 90 seconds of thick smoke with no flame and nothing fired into the air. Outdoors only, and on private land: the label is clear that setting one off in a public area is against the law.
It's just as useful for outdoor photography, where green gives a deep, natural colour against a grey sky or an open field.
