Sound the alarm! Code Red is a four-part compound throwing 144 shots of colour, crackling dahlias, shimmering strobes and ghost mines, and once you light it the whole thing kicks off.
A solid minute of effects building section to section, close to two kilos of powder behind it. Rated F2, a garden firework: keep spectators at least 8 metres back for safety.
Big compound performance without the big-compound price.
Fawkes' Top Tip
Leave it in the box to fire. It is a compound with interlinking fuses between the sections, so taking it out risks pulling the connections apart.
