This is the lifeblood of your firing setup. If you are using a professional-style torch like the Rothenberger or Super Fire 2 (and you should be), this is the heavy-duty fuel that keeps the flame roaring.

Standard lighters struggle in the wind; this propane mix laughs at it. It burns hotter and cleaner than standard butane, giving you that instant, aggressive blue flame that ignites fuses the moment you touch them. The cylinder features a standard screw thread fitting, making it a direct replacement for most heavy-duty torch heads.

There is nothing worse than your torch dying halfway through a display. Sod's law dictates it will happen right before the finale, so do yourself a favour and keep a spare cylinder in the kit bag.

Note: Bottle colours may vary (usually Yellow, Red, or Blue) depending on the batch, but the fitting and gas quality are identical.

Galactic Top Tip:
When changing the bottle, make sure your torch head is completely cool and the valve is closed. Screw the new bottle on firmly but don't over-tighten it—just enough to engage the seal. You should hear a brief "hiss" as it connects, then silence. If it keeps hissing, you haven't threaded it straight!
