Indoor Fireworks for Parties, Events and Celebrations
Not every celebration needs a full outdoor display. Our indoor fireworks collection brings the fun inside – ice fountains for bottles and cakes, fun snaps and pop pops for kids, glow wands and necklaces for parties, and novelty crackling items that add a bit of theatre to any gathering.
Every product in this collection is Category F1, meaning it's specifically designed and tested for indoor use. Low noise, minimal smoke, and safe distances measured in centimetres rather than metres. They're perfect for birthdays, weddings, restaurant table displays, New Year countdowns, and anywhere you want a spark of celebration without heading outside.
Best-Selling Indoor Fireworks
If you want the easiest starting point, our Indoor Fireworks Bumper Box is the single most popular item in the range – it bundles ice fountains, fun snaps, sparklers, crackling pieces and other table-top effects into one ready-to-go party kit. No guesswork, no under-ordering, and it ships the same day.
For individual items, ice fountains are far and away the most-searched indoor firework. They clip onto bottles or stand upright in cakes and produce a shower of silver sparks lasting around 45–60 seconds – see the full range in ice fountains. Fun snaps and pop pops are the low-cost classics – throw them at the floor and they pop. Glow wands and necklaces are popular for younger kids at parties.
For quiet handheld sparkle alongside the indoor range, browse our sparklers collection – wedding, giant and gold sparklers are all compatible with indoor use when the venue allows it. For small novelty effects designed for outdoor or patio use, see novelty fireworks.
Safe for Indoor Use
All fireworks in this collection carry a Category F1 classification. That means they've been tested and approved for use inside buildings. Safety distances are minimal and they produce very little smoke or debris. Always read the instructions on each product, check with your venue before lighting anything indoors, and keep a clear area around the firework while it's active.
If you're unsure which category a product belongs to, our guide to types of fireworks explained walks through F1 to F4 and what each is designed for.
What are Category F1 fireworks?
Category F1 fireworks are classified for indoor use. They have very low noise levels, minimal safety distances (typically under 1 metre), and produce little smoke. They include items like ice fountains, fun snaps, pop pops, and novelty crackling pieces.
Are indoor fireworks safe for children?
F1 fireworks are the safest category available. Items like fun snaps and pop pops are designed with children in mind. Adult supervision is still recommended, particularly with ice fountains and any item that produces sparks or flame.
Can I use ice fountains on birthday cakes?
Yes – ice fountains are commonly used on cakes, bottles, and desserts. They produce a controlled shower of cool-burning sparks. Make sure you follow the instructions on the packaging and keep the fountain upright.
Do you sell indoor fireworks all year round?
Yes. Indoor fireworks are a year-round range – our bumper box, ice fountains, fun snaps and glow items are in stock outside the usual October–November fireworks peak. They ship the same working day on orders placed before the daily cut-off.
Can I use indoor fireworks at a wedding venue?
Most wedding venues allow Category F1 indoor fireworks provided you check with the venue first. Ice fountains on the top table, fun snaps at the reception, and sparklers for the send-off are the most common choices. Always confirm with the venue coordinator – some venues restrict open flames near fabric drapes or sprinkler systems.
How much space do I need for indoor fireworks?
F1 indoor fireworks need far less space than outdoor items. Ice fountains typically want about 1 metre of clearance above and around them. Fun snaps, pop pops, glow wands and crackling items need only a small clear area. Always follow the specific instructions on each product – they list the exact safety distances.
