Quick answer: Complete display kits are pre-planned firework shows in a box – a selection of cakes, rockets, fountains, sparklers and finales with a suggested firing order. They take the guesswork out of planning a display. Kits range from small garden shows to full evening displays.

Complete Firework Display Kits – Everything You Need in One Order

Complete display kits take the guesswork out of planning a firework show. Each kit includes a pre-selected combination of cakes, barrages, rockets and finales, along with a suggested firing order so you know exactly what to light and when. Displays range from quick 5-minute garden shows to 20+ minute professional-style performances.

Buying a complete kit rather than picking individual fireworks has two advantages. First, the pieces are chosen to complement each other – building from quieter openers through mid-show variety to a loud, colourful finale. Second, kits typically offer better value than buying the same fireworks separately. Each kit lists its total runtime, the number of pieces included, and the firing order.

Smaller kits suit back garden gatherings with family and friends. Larger kits are designed for bigger spaces – field displays, bonfire nights, wedding celebrations and New Year events. If you are not sure which size to choose, consider your garden dimensions, the number of guests, and how long you want the show to last.

All kits use consumer-grade (F2 or F3) fireworks that do not require a professional licence. For individual pieces to add to a custom display, browse by category – cakes, compounds, rockets, fountains or sparklers. For firing equipment and display sundries to round out your kit, see our non-pyro accessories. Orders over £300 ship free, or any cart with an item from our Free Delivery collection ships free regardless of cart total.

Want a kit with real display pedigree behind it? Kimbolton Fireworks has been producing professional firework displays since 1976, including weddings and corporate shows, and their consumer range carries that same design approach into kits you can set off yourself.

Looking to keep costs down? Our cheap fireworks collection features heavily discounted products that you can combine into a brilliant display at a fraction of the usual price, or explore buying in bulk for even bigger savings on larger displays. Our Christmas and New Year fireworks collection has display kits built for both celebrations.

What is a complete firework display kit?

A complete display kit's a pre-selected bundle of fireworks designed to run as a full show. Each kit includes multiple cakes, barrages and finales with a suggested firing order, so you know exactly what to light and in what sequence. Kits range from 5-minute garden shows to 20+ minute displays.

Do I need a licence to use a display kit?

No. All our display kits use consumer-grade F2 and F3 fireworks that can be purchased and used by anyone aged 18 or over. No professional licence or training is required.

How do I know which display kit to choose?

Consider three things: your available space (garden size), how long you want the show to last, and your budget. Smaller kits suit compact gardens and shorter shows, while larger kits are better for open spaces and longer displays. Each kit lists its runtime and space requirements.

Can I add extra fireworks to a display kit?

Yes. Many customers use a display kit as the foundation and add extra rockets, fountains or sparklers to personalise their show. You can browse individual categories to find pieces that complement your chosen kit.

Are display kits suitable for weddings?

Yes. Several of our larger display kits are popular for wedding celebrations. They provide a ready-made show without the cost of hiring a professional display company. For wedding-specific options, see our wedding fireworks collection.

Do complete display kits come with free delivery?

Orders over £300 qualify for free delivery to mainland UK. Most of our larger display kits exceed this threshold. Smaller orders carry a flat delivery charge.

Want cakes bundled together without building a full kit? Our pre-mixed multi-cake bundle collection groups smaller cakes at a better per-cake price.

Display Planning Resources

Not found a kit that fits? Our display builder plans a show to your own budget from the fireworks in stock, with a firing order you can print and one button to add the lot to your basket. And if you were looking for someone to fire the display for you, read display company or DIY pack? first, which explains what we do and what to check when hiring a professional firm.

First time putting on a show? Read our step-by-step guide to planning a fireworks display at home – it covers layout, timing, safety distances and firing order. Before you light anything, our complete fireworks safety guide runs through the UK Firework Code so you know exactly what's required.

Planning for 5 November? Our Bonfire Night 2026 buying guide compares our complete display packs by budget and running time. Most packs here include F3 pieces, so check you have 25 metres first: our F2 vs F3 fireworks guide explains why.

Prefer to build your own show piece by piece? Browse individual display fireworks – the higher-power professional-grade pieces used by display companies – and mix them with consumer selections for a stepped finale.
