This is a serious bit of kit. We are talking about 3.6kg of powder crammed into one unit, and it delivers. One of my favourite things about this compound is the screaming comets—a classic, screeching effect that loads of manufacturers have stopped using, but it sounds brilliant here. The timing is spot on, mixing rapid-fire straight shots with wide, sweeping fans that cover the whole skyline.
It builds up to a proper "grandstand finale" with deep blue stars and a wall of golden crackle. If you want a 'display-in-a-box' that hits hard and lasts for over a minute and a half, this is the one to back.
