What is the difference between cake packs and selection boxes?
Cake packs contain only multi-shot barrages — every firework is aerial. Selection boxes typically include a mix of cakes, rockets, fountains, sparklers and other types. Choose cake packs for pure aerial impact, or selection boxes for more variety including ground-level effects.
Are cake packs good value compared to buying individually?
Yes. Bundle pricing typically saves 15–30% compared to buying equivalent cakes separately. You also benefit from pre-selected combinations that complement each other with varied effects and colours.
Can I light all the cakes at once?
No — each cake lights individually, giving you control over timing. Space them throughout the evening for extended entertainment, or light them back-to-back for an intense concentrated display. For single-ignition displays, look at our compound fireworks instead.
How long does a cake pack display last?
It depends on the pack size and how you time the cakes. A 4–6 cake pack might run 5–10 minutes if lit consecutively, or longer if spaced out. Larger 10–15 cake packs can fill 15–20 minutes or more. Check individual pack details for shot counts and approximate durations.
Are cake packs suitable for gardens?

Do I need to buy anything else with a cake pack?
