Hello again, Galactic Family!
Spring is well underway, and here at Galactic HQ, we're making the most of the brighter days, preparing for a summer filled with fireworks, events, and celebrations. While it might be considered a quieter period for fireworks enthusiasts, we've got plenty to share—exciting new products, fresh content, and even something for the football fans out there!
Introducing Our New Video Series: Pyro Basics
I'm delighted to announce a brand-new video series: Pyro Basics. After many conversations with customers, I've realised that while our team lives and breathes fireworks year-round, there isn't really a dedicated place for sharing our knowledge, tips, and passion with all of you pyromaniacs out there. I hope this video series will fill that gap, helping you plan, organise, and safely execute some spectacular fireworks displays.
In this series, I'll be exploring all things pyro, including:
- Different firework types and their effects
- Essential safety tips for setting up and firing displays
- Practical advice for organising your firework display
- Fascinating insights into the history and culture of fireworks
The first video, "Compound Fireworks Explained", is already live. This episode dives into the innovative and increasingly popular world of compound cakes. They're a relatively recent addition to the UK market, enabling us all to enjoy longer-lasting, choreographed displays from a single ignition—truly one of the best advances in fireworks technology in recent years!
I'll admit, I can ramble a bit—but I'll be working hard to improve each episode as we go along. Exciting New Products Arriving for 2025
I'm thrilled to announce that we’ve got some phenomenal new products landing this year, firstly from Bright Star Fireworks. Over the coming months, I’ll be showcasing videos of various items from different manufacturers. Still, I must say, these two new products from Bright Star are easily among my most anticipated—and interestingly enough, they aren't your traditional cakes!
🚀 Weapon X Strobe Rockets
You're going to see plenty of these in 2025—the spectacular strobe rocket. As they rise, they create a stunning flickering, flashing trail reminiscent of tracer fire before culminating in a brilliant burst. These rockets generated huge excitement last year, but unfortunately, they arrived too late. Now we’ve secured the incredible Bright Star Weapon X rockets, and trust me, nothing else on the market matches their stunning effects and exceptional value. These rockets will be hugely popular, so keep your eyes peeled!
🎇 Vortex Fury Fountain
This next one truly blew me away—I've honestly never been this excited about a fountain before! The Vortex Fury from Bright Star begins as an eye-catching spinning fountain, quickly transitioning into gorgeous, glittering golden sprays. Just when you think you've seen it all, it transforms again, bursting into a mesmerising spinning floral effect, like a magical lily opening up before your eyes. It's perfect for smaller to medium-sized displays, where your audience can appreciate the spectacular ground-level effects up close. You’ll want to see this in action—it’s unforgettable.
