Saturday 28th October
Galactic Fireworks at Wentworth Woodhouse 2017 Spooktacular
We’ll be back once more at Wentworth Woodhouse in the week leading up to Bonfire Night with a superb display in hand. This will take place around 8pm on the evening, whilst there will also be a quiet display for kids around 7pm.
In addition to the pyro, you’ll find fairground rides, live music, hot and cold food, pumpkin carving and plenty of places to grab a drink. The event encourages fancy dress and there are prizes to be won. Keep your eye out for the spooky wooden walkway.

Pricing: £15 adult / £7.50 child / free for under 3s. Early bird tickets are available until the 27th September (£12.50 adult / £5.00 child)
Friday 3rd November
After Dark Fireworks Sheffield
Yorkshire’s ‘No.1 Firework Spectacular’ will be held on Friday November 3rd. An event which attracts as many as 20,000 visitors, it’s perfect for getting in the Bonfire Night spirit.
This year’s event will be celebrated with Hallam FM and Simon Morykin Live. There’ll be a giant bonfire, funfair, street food stalls, fire spinners and face painting. The giant firework display will be held set to music from 9pm.

Time: Gates open at 5:30pm, bonfire at 7:30pm and fireworks at 9pm
Pricing: Advance tickets - £10 Adult / £5 Child. Gate tickets - £12 Adult / £6 Child. Children under 3 go free in all cases.
Big Bang 2017 Firework Display
Back for another year, the 2017 Big Bang will take place once again at the Keepmoat Stadium, home to Doncaster Rovers. It will be the 8th anniversary of the event at the location. Attendees can expect to enjoy a superb mix of fireworks.

Time: 17:00 onwards
Pricing: Advance tickets from £2 with a DNA card and £3 on the day. The website states that entry is free for children under 1 metre

Meadowhead Bonfire & Fireworks Display
An event that keeps growing in size each year, the Meadowhead Bonfire and Firework Display returns once more to The Transport Ground. The fireworks are expected to be the best they’ve been to date.
The 2016 event was advertised as being free to attend. At the time of writing this article, any pricing information had yet to be released. Check the Facebook page via the link below for any more.

Oughtbridge 2017 Music & Firework Show
Providing a ‘musical journey through the decades’, the Oughtibridge 2017 firework show is sure to be popular. Offering a mix of fireworks, music and a light show, it will take place the day before Bonfire Night this year.
The event will also include an outside bar, a range of food stands, children’s rides and funfair. Tickets will be available from Oughtibridge Kitchens and the owmrg website.

Bents Green Firework Display & Bonfire
This annual bonfire and fireworks’ display is organised by the 20th Sheffield Scout Group and it always proves popular with locals. In addition to the fireworks - which will start around 8pm - there will also be a bonfire lit at 7:15pm.
Hot food and refreshments will be available at the event. Advance tickets are only available when booked online.

The Great Fire of Dronfield
Billed as ‘two great events for the price of one’, the Great Fire Of Dronfield is back for another year at the Dronfield Woodhouse Recreation Ground. Boasting two fireworks’ displays, the event will take place whatever the weather. The first of the two displays on the night is shorter and aimed at ‘small children and those of a nervous disposition’.
There will be several great stalls at the event on the night, including a hog roast, fresh pizza oven, jacket potato stall, burger and sausage stall and outside bar. There will also be a bouncy castle and bouncy slide for the kids.

Handsworth Bonfire & Fireworks Evening
Sure to be an event which delivers great value once again, the Handsworth Bonfire and Fireworks evening opens at 5pm. There will be a bonfire at 5:30pm, with the fireworks following shortly after it’s lit. Those attending will also find a BBQ, bar and bouncy castle.

Grenoside Scout & Guide Group Bonfire & Firework Display
This family-friendly event continues to grow in size each year. For the 2017 event, there will be a licenced bar; as well as refreshments including hot dogs, burgers, chilli, jacket potatoes, tea, coffee and parkin.
It is advised that you buy any tickets in advance of the event, as it has sold out the previous two years leading to some attendees without tickets being turned away at the gate.

Bonfire Night At the Manor
Brampton Manor’s annual bonfire night party will take place this year the day before bonfire night. This one sold out well before the event last year so if you’re attending, make sure you book tickets in advance.
On the night, gates open from 5pm and there will be outdoor live entertainment. This one is tickets only.

Manor Fields Firework Display & Bonfire
After another successful event in 2016, the Manor Fields Firework Display and Bonfire is back for another year in 2017. The event, which take place on Saturday 4th, will include fireworks, food stalls, a funfair, traditional sweets and more. The event is free to attend whilst there is the opportunity for donations to help contribute towards running costs.

Galactic Fireworks at Frickley Fireworks Spectacular
In partnership with Frickley Athletic and others, South Elsmall Town Council will be holding a community firework display on bonfire night. This will take place the the Frickley Athletic Stadium.
The Galactic Fireworks team will be there to put on the night’s fireworks - and we can ensure you that you won’t be left disappointed. Get the whole family down for this wonderful night of entertainment.

Maltby Town Council Fireworks Display
This year’s Maltby Fireworks Display will start with a disco, before the fireworks begin at 6:30pm. At the event, there will be activities including children’s fairground rides and a Guy Fawkes competition. Refreshments will be available at the event, which only offers limited parking.

Chesterfield Firework Extravaganza
The Chesterfield Firework Extravaganza will be back for another year on Sunday 5th November. This will feature a dazzling fireworks display, with various food and drinks stalls available at the event on the night.

Owlerton Stadium Firework Spectacular
This year’s firework display at Owlerton Stadium can be booked in conjunction with a variety of packages for races. The last of these will take place at 7:30pm. Children under 16 are welcome at the event and they can be added when you book via the link below.

Cannon Hall Farm Fireworks & Bonfire
The annual Cannon Hall Farm bonfire returns this year on 5th November, providing a great option for a family day out. As this is an all-day event, the ticket price includes farm admission, indoor and outdoor play and tractor/trailer rides.
In the evening, the bonfire will lit around 5pm, with the fireworks following shortly after. To avoid disappointment, make sure you pre-book your ticket. The organisers won’t accept farm admissions without a pre-booked ticket.

Chatsworth House Bonfire & Fireworks
As one of the most popular Bonfire Night events in the Derbyshire area, Chatsworth run their dual bonfire and fireworks’ display across two nights. Held in the garden, the event will also play home to live music, dancing, circus performers, face painting and a selection of great food.
The running order for both nights will see gates open at 6pm, before the lighting of the bonfire at 7pm. There will then be a children’s firework display at 7:30pm and the grand finale display at 8:15pm. All entertainment will finish at 9.40pm.
