Wooden stakes are ideal for securing a firework too so as to make more sturdy and so safer. (please read and follow instructions on all fireworks)Gaffa Tape is great for fixing the firework to the stake you could also use tie wraps but whatever you use dont force it so tight that it squashes the tubes on the firework as this could cause a missfire.
