Just ordered a few really great bargains from Standard/Black Cat Fireworks. These are an assortment of things from catherine wheels to a few big single ignition cakes. Must say one of the catherine wheels is called the BIG WHEEL which is about 15 inch x 15 inch so a really BIG WHEEL ! the rrp on this is £12.99 but as I said earlier our prices on virtually all these items will be appx 50% off rrp so the BIG WHEEL will be only £5.99 at Galactic Fireworks. I have also bought lots of small selection boxes ranging in price from £8.99 - £49.99 these have all been packed up into bargain bags containing either 4 assorted boxes or 3 larger assorted boxes for only £25 per bag full (not on the internet but these are now available instore) Had a good day out at the Spring Fair in Birmingham on Monday 8th Feb buying some great new cakes with amazing effects, will video all these around June time and get them on here for you to see yourself.

I wasn't going to bother setting any fireworks off for the new year as there was only myself and my wife Mandy at home, at around 11:50 I just couldn't help myself I went to one of our storage containers and got out an Air Boss, Open Fire, Tigers Revenge, 6 x Scorpion Candles (new for 2010) and 6 x Sky Thriller Rockets plus a couple of other bits and bobs........... at about 12:05 we started setting them off and 15 minutes later both my wife and I had had an absolutely fantastic new years eve, the only downside was appx £400 worth of fireworks for just the 2 of us but It was brilliant. I also got Mandy to light a firework as unbelievably she has never ever let of a firework ! If anyone needs any fireworks or wants to talk to me direct call my mobile 07966 110969. I am happy to open our retail shop in Dinnington (5 mins off jct 31 M1) anytime 24hours a day 7 days a week if anybody needs anything, please only ring me between 9am & 9pm though. Been quite busy trying out a few new fireworks from Cosmic, Astra, Flash, and Absolute Fireworks. I have ended up with 6 really realy good cakes selling for under £20 each that I won't name yet as it will give you something to look forward to next year. I also set off a Zeus by Brothers (r.r.p £120) that for 1.4g was brilliant and providing we can get the price down to allow us to sell this at appx £80 it will definately be one to watch in 2010. The final firework we sett off last night was the Flaming Phoenix a Cosmic Fireworks NG cake selling at the astronomically high price of £169.99 (there most expensive piece) I was praying for something very good as last year the Extravaganza £94.99 (rrp£129) and Peacock in Season £79.99 (rrp£99) where both brilliant but are never to be seen again, In fact this is the same with the Flaming Phoenix it is a 1.3g classified firework so what few are left in the uk is all there is ! I can honestly tell you that this firework was stunning, it had a good mix of various effects with tremendously loud reports that had me jumping around with excitement WOW WEE I absolutely loved it ! Now the two lots of good news firstly I have bought every last one of these Cosmic Flaming Phoenix Fireworks so I have them all ! and secondly the price even though I know its broken the £100 marker will be £109.99 which is still a massive £60 off rrp. Any pyromaniacs out there you are in for a treat and to anyone who reads this my latest news just mention that you read this and I will knock you a further £10 off making it just £99.99.(this news will go from here in appx 4 weeks but just remember to say even if its 2010 bonfire night and I will stick to this deal) P.S this and any other new firework will not be on the web site untill early next year when I have done videos etc.Thanks for reading Nigel.T

Back from China and its so so nice to be home as I am definately a home boy, this said I loved the experience and the company of Paul (General Manager of Brothers Pyrotechnics UK) Russ (Sales Manager of Brothers Pyrotechnics UK) David (Sales ot Brothers Pyrotechnics UK) and finaly Shay (owner of Chinese Fireworks) I have not bought or ordered any new fireworks as yet but will hopefully be doing so in the forthcoming months. I have now added a seperate section in the about us pages where I have posted some photos of my china visit.

Hi there I have been to the Brothers Pyrotechnics Manufacturing site which was brilliant ! I loved seeing how the fireworks are made, I also went to look around the warehousing where once again I got very excited just looking at piles of boxes of fireworks (will post some pics on here once I get them on my computer) We have today flown from Behai on our first leg of the return journey (not sure where we are but it was a 500 mile flight) we will be stopping here for 2 nights to simply have some fun "now heres me thinking the fireworks where fun" Will write again when I get back to the u.k

Well I am out here in China and its not what I really imagined, I expected people living in litle wooden huts in the middle of nowhere with very little to eat etc but thats certainly not the case. I am in Behai next to the sea and its just like being in my home town of Sheffield except a few more chinese people, the food is also good even though its strange having fish and rice (no chips) and picking out your fish from a a tank of live ones swimming about. Anyway best get on to the fireworks I am about to go out for my second night of firework demonsrations which I am really looking forward too as last night was so very good in a number of ways, firstly felt very honoured to have dinner with Gary Wang the owner of Brothers Pyrotechnics, secondly to go to probably the best organised demo evening I have ever been too and thirdly to see some great fireworks that I cant wait to have in the u.k I have to add that I really like a chap called Dave Pointon who not only works for Brothers but owns a fireworks shop in Rotherham called Cabbaage Patch fireworks who as like me loves his pyro plus has a very large extensive knowledge of the product, Also out with us is Shay Poppat form Chinese fireworks in Sheffield who is certainly keeping us all amused with his great sense of humour. All in all so far its been worth the 26hr journey to get here. Thanks for reading and will keep you updated later, by the way can I ust a a big thanks to Dave & Sarah for wishing me all the best for this trip but didnt e-mail them back as didn't get time.

You may notice we have had quite a few new items especially in the candles & fountains section, most items are from Cube Fireworks, Sorry no videos of these new items but I can tell you the VX cake and the Bermuda Triangle are amazing, don't expect these items to last much longer than the new year sales period. I also should have mentioned that we have a few new big rockets King Whoppa & Sky Sceptres plus a couple of others that are not listed but we have instore for sale. I am now getting all excited but also a little scared about my first trip to China, I am going on Sunday and will probably report while I am there providing they have internet connection etc.

Obviously been a quiet week with me kind of taking it easy, I will be having words with the web designers about 3 great ideas that have both come from customer suggestions the first one is a savings scheme where you will be able to log ito your account and buy vouchers to be redeemed at a later date to suit yourself thus helping you not to have one big expense at bonfire night or whenever your display may be, we will also be offering special discounts to people saving in this manor. The second idea is that people can leave there own remarks on what they thought about the fireworks that they have bought. And finally I will be adding a special voucher that you will be able to print from the website entitling you to whatver offer is displayed at the time for instance I will be offering a couple of great cakes at a crazy prices for new year so watch this space. please be patient as I am going to China on the 22nd of Nov so this won't happen till later in December. |
