Delivery Details & Charges (Mainland UK Only)


Deliveries out of season are always despatched on the Monday and are sent on a next day courier so you will receive your order the following day on the Tuesday, If this is a problem we can on occasions arrange a different dispatch day other than a Monday.

Around Bonfire Night we try to do as many deliveries as we can ourselves, if this is the case then we will call you before delivery to tell you the exact date and the appx time (using autoroute) that we will be at your specified delivery address. Because it is ourselves who will be delivering your fireworks this ensures no missing items etc plus being able to talk about the fireworks or any further questions you may have upon delivery. It also means we can leave at a neighbours house (on your approval) or even wait for you if you've just popped out for a few minutes etc. On delivery there must be someone at least 18 years old to sign for the fireworks.

I highly recommend getting your fireworks at least a week prior to your display to allow yourself to familiarise yourself with the products etc, so please order in plenty of time.

We charge a fixed £19.95 for any delivery of any size (Flying Lanterns etc are much cheaper please see item description if no delivery price is shown then it is our normal £19.95)

When delivering to Highlands and out of the way places we will now have to use a Courier firm certified to carry fireworks rather than ourselves delivering so additional charges to deliver to Grampian & The Highlands etc will apply. We will stand to this additional charge on any order over £250 but please note if your order is under this figure we will contact you for an additional payment of appx £15.00 on top of the normal £19.95 delivery charge (if in doubt give us a call to verify)
We cannot deliver to Ireland / Northern Ireland or anywhere else outside the UK.

ALL CONSIGNMENTS MUST BE CHECKED & SIGNED FOR (ONLY SIGN FOR WHAT YOU RECEIVE !)
It is important you use an address where someone will be in and able to sign for your order, failure to do so will incur additional charges. It is highly advised that whenever possible you use a business address i.e your place of work for your delivery. fireworks have to be signed for by someone over 18 and on occasions identification may be required.
If the delivery fails due to no one being present at the premises or not old enough, we will have to return these to our storage and you wil have to pay for a re-delivery (usually £14). If it is ourselves delivering we will allways attempt to call you when we are at your address if this is the case and try to arrange a optional drop off point nearby.

Pick Up Only Products

Obviously these are only for pick up from our stores, however if your order is around bonfire night then please ask as we may be able to add these items to your order if it is ourselves delivering.

Same Day Deliveries.

If you require fireworks on the same day then this is now a service that we offer to any person within a 50 mile radius of S25 3PF (Nottingham to Leeds basicaly) The order must be over £250 and our basic delivery charge will apply (£19.95) If you are further away then we can still offer this service at a cost to you of 50p per mile from S25 3PF and back again i.e a delivery to Coventry is 83 miles = 166 miles in total = £83 delivery charge. Can I also add that on any same day delivery service we will require a minimum and a maximum of 20% deposit by credit card and the 80% balance MUST! be paid in cash on delivery (this is to stop credit card fraud) Please call us on 01909 560011.

Returns & Damages

Hopefully you will never need to return a product, but if you do, here are the details.

If your goods arrive damaged, you must notify us within a reasonable time frame, we find that the best system if this is the case is for you to soak the item in a bucket for 2-3 days then dicard in a proper way (call your local fire officer for advice) we will then put a credit against your account.
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations.
Cancellation Rights
a. You have the right to cancel this order within seven working days beginning the day after the day on which you receive the goods
b. If you wish to cancel this contract you must indicate this in writing or another durable medium such as letter, fax, email (provide addresses/email addresses/fax details by which to cancel) within the cancellation period
c. You (the consumer) have a statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession
d. You (the consumer) must arrange for the safe return of goods to us, however for fireworks this needs to be done through our specialist hazardous goods courier. the cost of which is to be born by you, failing which we will recover the goods, the cost of which will be deducted from any refund due to you
e. Upon the cancellation of a contract we shall reimburse any sum paid by or on behalf of the consumer under or in relation to the contract to the person by whom it was made free of any charge (less any charge made in connection with recovery of the goods) within 30 days of cancellation
f. Where goods do not conform to the implied terms set out under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 the cost of recovering the goods will be borne by ourselves.
