Welcome to the Wonderful World of Galactic Fireworks

Hi, and welcome my name is Nigel Turver and I am the owner of this small family run business operating from probably the very best fireworks shop anywhere in the UK. We have now been trading from our main retail store in the small village of Laughton Common, Nr Sheffield for over 28 years. We also have 3 other retail shops at Retford, South Elmsall and Ripley. The Ripley store is new for 2011 but just like our other 3 stores comes with an all year round license to sell fireworks.

I love fireworks its as simple as that ! I am now 45 years old with a terrible memory and yet I remember going into Robinsons newsagents on School Road Crookes and seeing the big wooden tea chest with pre decimal prices on (yes I must have been only 5). and looking in awe at these wonderous magical items like Traffic Lights and Snow Storm from Standard Fireworks, I also remember my teenage years just as I hit 13 years old the legal age of buying fireworks going up to 16 "DAMM!"  this didn't stop me going to Redgates on the Moor and looking in the big glass cabinets at the varying sizes of mesmerizing fireworks on show. I suppose now that is why I still just love feeling and touching the things before they have even been set off. Anyway I still love all fireworks from the smallest catherine wheel to the biggest single ignition box. Irrelivant of size I like to see a firework that makes you look and watch with your heart racing whille producing wonderous effects that reflect in the size and the price that you have paid for the firework.
